GREETINGS EVERYONE
Well, can you believe
it; it is March already and it is 2010 already. Ten years ago we
survived the false prophecies of Y2K and Nostradamus' prophecy of
the terrible war at the turn of the century. So many false things
present themselves to us and we're buffeted with crap many times
each day. But we can be sure of one thing; that being that Yahweh
never changes and that His love for us has endured throughout all
generations.
At the end of this
month we celebrate Pesach (Passover) which is a reminder of freedom
of bondage. Yeshua celebrated Pesach too in an event that Christians
call The Last Supper. During that Pesach dinner Yeshua told us of
our redemption through Him from the bondage of sin and death. The
steadfast love of Yahweh never ceases; His mercies never come to an
end. They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness!
Both Lourdes and I
proclaim a blessing on you as you read this month's Delusion
Resistance Journal. We pray abundant blessings upon you and that He
will bestow upon you every good thing that He has in His vast
storehouse for you. We pray employment for the unemployed;
outpourings of money for those in debt or in need; food for the
hungry; clothing for those who need to be clothed and shelter for
those in need. And above all, we pray innumerable spiritual
blessings by way of the Ruach Ha Kodesh. May He fill the storehouse
of your spirit. Glory to Yahweh Yeshua!!

ABOUT THE WAY
THEY'RE SPYING ON US
As we speed down the highway heading
toward totalitarianism in our nation it is important to be aware of
the policies and procedures that a wicked government can initiate.
We always hear the rumors of railway cars made especially for
transporting large amounts of people from one place to another. We
hear rumors about concentration camps being built to store
malcontents and political prisoners. We see our once great nation
circling the bowl in the vortex of communism and it makes us wonder
what sort of precautions we can take to stay safe and retain the
lifestyle that we have been blessed with for over two centuries.
I was sitting in the local H.R. Block
office last month and I was talking to the man who did my taxes. We
got to one point where he asked me for my bank account number so
that I could have my federal and state income tax returns deposited
electronically. I told the man that a lot of people would be wary
about giving out that information because it is so personal. I
chuckled though and told the man that the government already knows
that information and it is a very good probability that they know
more about me than I know about myself. As I browsed the internet
one day I decided to type in my own name to see what results I would
get on Google. I found one site that had all of the addresses where
I had ever lived, the times that I had lived there and how long I
had lived at each address. Of course I had lived in all of those
places at one time or another, but some of them had grown faint in
my memory. So what I am trying to convey here is that with just a
few keystrokes on a keyboard anyone in the government can know
things about me that even I have forgotten...scary huh. And
remember, that wasn't a government website; just some information
website.
So, what I would like to do is to
present to you something from the White House website for you to
peruse. After that we can talk about the implications that all of
this will (not can, but will) have on all of us; the Church of
Yeshua Ha Mashiach.
The Comprehensive
National Cybersecurity Initiative

President Obama has identified
cybersecurity as one of the most serious
economic and national security challenges we
face as a nation, but one that we as a
government or as a country are not
adequately prepared to counter. Shortly
after taking office, the President therefore
ordered a thorough review of federal efforts
to defend the U.S. information and
communications infrastructure and the
development of a comprehensive approach to
securing America’s digital infrastructure.
In May 2009, the President accepted the
recommendations of the resulting Cyberspace
Policy Review, including the selection of an
Executive Branch Cybersecurity Coordinator
who will have regular access to the
President. The Executive Branch was also
directed to work closely with all key
players in U.S. cybersecurity, including
state and local governments and the private
sector, to ensure an organized and unified
response to future cyber incidents;
strengthen public/private partnerships to
find technology solutions that ensure U.S.
security and prosperity; invest in the
cutting-edge research and development
necessary for the innovation and discovery
to meet the digital challenges of our time;
and begin a campaign to promote
cybersecurity awareness and digital literacy
from our boardrooms to our classrooms and
begin to build the digital workforce of the
21st century. Finally, the President
directed that these activities be conducted
in a way that is consistent with ensuring
the privacy rights and civil liberties
guaranteed in the Constitution and cherished
by all Americans.
The activities under way to implement the
recommendations of the Cyberspace Policy
Review build on the Comprehensive National
Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI) launched by
President George W. Bush in National
Security Presidential Directive 54/Homeland
Security Presidential Directive 23 (NSPD-54/
HSPD-23) in January 2008. President Obama
determined that the CNCI and its associated
activities should evolve to become key
elements of a broader, updated national U.S.
cybersecurity strategy. These CNCI
initiatives will play a key role in
supporting the achievement of many of the
key recommendations of President Obama’s
Cyberspace Policy Review.
The CNCI consists of a number of mutually
reinforcing initiatives with the following
major goals designed to help secure the
United States in cyberspace:
- To establish a front line of
defense against today’s immediate
threats by creating or
enhancing shared situational awareness
of network vulnerabilities, threats, and
events within the Federal Government—and
ultimately with state, local, and tribal
governments and private sector
partners—and the ability to act quickly
to reduce our current vulnerabilities
and prevent intrusions.
- To defend against the full
spectrum of threats by
enhancing U.S. counterintelligence
capabilities and increasing the security
of the supply chain for key information
technologies.
- To strengthen the future
cybersecurity environment by
expanding cyber education; coordinating
and redirecting research and development
efforts across the Federal Government;
and working to define and develop
strategies to deter hostile or malicious
activity in cyberspace.
In building the plans for the CNCI, it
was quickly realized that these goals could
not be achieved without also strengthening
certain key strategic foundational
capabilities within the Government.
Therefore, the CNCI includes funding within
the federal law enforcement, intelligence,
and defense communities to enhance such key
functions as criminal investigation;
intelligence collection, processing, and
analysis; and information assurance critical
to enabling national cybersecurity efforts.
The CNCI was developed with great care
and attention to privacy and civil liberties
concerns in close consultation with privacy
experts across the government. Protecting
civil liberties and privacy rights remain
fundamental objectives in the implementation
of the CNCI.
In accord with President Obama’s declared
intent to make transparency a touchstone of
his presidency, the Cyberspace Policy Review
identified enhanced information sharing as a
key component of effective cybersecurity. To
improve public understanding of Federal
efforts, the Cybersecurity Coordinator has
directed the release of the following
summary description of the CNCI.
CNCI Initiative Details
Initiative #1. Manage the Federal
Enterprise Network as a single network
enterprise with Trusted Internet
Connections. The Trusted Internet
Connections (TIC) initiative, headed by the
Office of Management and Budget and the
Department of Homeland Security, covers the
consolidation of the Federal Government’s
external access points (including those to
the Internet). This consolidation will
result in a common security solution which
includes: facilitating the reduction of
external access points, establishing
baseline security capabilities; and,
validating agency adherence to those
security capabilities. Agencies participate
in the TIC initiative either as TIC Access
Providers (a limited number of agencies that
operate their own capabilities) or by
contracting with commercial Managed Trusted
IP Service (MTIPS) providers through the
GSA-managed NETWORX contract vehicle.
Initiative #2. Deploy an
intrusion detection system of sensors across
the Federal enterprise. Intrusion
Detection Systems using passive sensors form
a vital part of U.S. Government network
defenses by identifying when unauthorized
users attempt to gain access to those
networks. DHS is deploying, as part of its
EINSTEIN 2 activities, signature-based
sensors capable of inspecting Internet
traffic entering Federal systems for
unauthorized accesses and malicious content.
The EINSTEIN 2 capability enables analysis
of network flow information to identify
potential malicious activity while
conducting automatic full packet inspection
of traffic entering or exiting U.S.
Government networks for malicious activity
using signature-based intrusion detection
technology. Associated with this investment
in technology is a parallel investment in
manpower with the expertise required to
accomplish DHS’s expanded network security
mission. EINSTEIN 2 is capable of alerting
US-CERT in real time to the presence of
malicious or potentially harmful activity in
federal network traffic and provides
correlation and visualization of the derived
data. Due to the capabilities within
EINSTEIN 2, US-CERT analysts have a greatly
improved understanding of the network
environment and an increased ability to
address the weaknesses and vulnerabilities
in Federal network security. As a result,
US-CERT has greater situational awareness
and can more effectively develop and more
readily share security relevant information
with network defenders across the U.S.
Government, as well as with security
professionals in the private sector and the
American public. The Department of Homeland
Security’s Privacy Office has conducted and
published a Privacy Impact Assessment for
the EINSTEIN 2 program.
Initiative #3. Pursue deployment
of intrusion prevention systems across the
Federal enterprise. This Initiative
represents the next evolution of protection
for civilian Departments and Agencies of the
Federal Executive Branch. This approach,
called EINSTEIN 3, will draw on commercial
technology and specialized government
technology to conduct real-time full packet
inspection and threat-based decision-making
on network traffic entering or leaving these
Executive Branch networks. The goal of
EINSTEIN 3 is to identify and characterize
malicious network traffic to enhance
cybersecurity analysis, situational
awareness and security response. It will
have the ability to automatically detect and
respond appropriately to cyber threats
before harm is done, providing an intrusion
prevention system supporting dynamic
defense. EINSTEIN 3 will assist DHS US-CERT
in defending, protecting and reducing
vulnerabilities on Federal Executive Branch
networks and systems. The EINSTEIN 3 system
will also support enhanced information
sharing by US-CERT with Federal Departments
and Agencies by giving DHS the ability to
automate alerting of detected network
intrusion attempts and, when deemed
necessary by DHS, to send alerts that do not
contain the content of communications to the
National Security Agency (NSA) so that DHS
efforts may be supported by NSA exercising
its lawfully authorized missions. This
initiative makes substantial and long-term
investments to increase national
intelligence capabilities to discover
critical information about foreign cyber
threats and use this insight to inform
EINSTEIN 3 systems in real time. DHS will be
able to adapt threat signatures determined
by NSA in the course of its foreign
intelligence and DoD information assurance
missions for use in the EINSTEIN 3 system in
support of DHS’s federal system security
mission. Information sharing on cyber
intrusions will be conducted in accordance
with the laws and oversight for activities
related to homeland security, intelligence,
and defense in order to protect the privacy
and rights of U.S. citizens.
DHS is currently conducting a exercise to
pilot the EINSTEIN 3 capabilities described
in this initiative based on technology
developed by NSA and to solidify processes
for managing and protecting information
gleaned from observed cyber intrusions
against civilian Executive Branch systems.
Government civil liberties and privacy
officials are working closely with DHS and
US-CERT to build appropriate and necessary
privacy protections into the design and
operational deployment of EINSTEIN 3.
Initiative #4: Coordinate and
redirect research and development (R&D)
efforts. No single individual or
organization is aware of all of the
cyber-related R&D activities being funded by
the Government. This initiative is
developing strategies and structures for
coordinating all cyber R&D sponsored or
conducted by the U.S. government, both
classified and unclassified, and to redirect
that R&D where needed. This Initiative is
critical to eliminate redundancies in
federally funded cybersecurity research, and
to identify research gaps, prioritize R&D
efforts, and ensure the taxpayers are
getting full value for their money as we
shape our strategic investments.
Initiative #5. Connect current
cyber ops centers to enhance situational
awareness. There is a pressing need
to ensure that government information
security offices and strategic operations
centers share data regarding malicious
activities against federal systems,
consistent with privacy protections for
personally identifiable and other protected
information and as legally appropriate, in
order to have a better understanding of the
entire threat to government systems and to
take maximum advantage of each
organization’s unique capabilities to
produce the best overall national cyber
defense possible. This initiative provides
the key means necessary to enable and
support shared situational awareness and
collaboration across six centers that are
responsible for carrying out U.S. cyber
activities. This effort focuses on key
aspects necessary to enable practical
mission bridging across the elements of U.S.
cyber activities: foundational capabilities
and investments such as upgraded
infrastructure, increased bandwidth, and
integrated operational capabilities;
enhanced collaboration, including common
technology, tools, and procedures; and
enhanced shared situational awareness
through shared analytic and collaborative
technologies.
The National Cybersecurity Center (NCSC)
within the Department of Homeland Security
will play a key role in securing U.S.
Government networks and systems under this
initiative by coordinating and integrating
information from the six centers to provide
cross-domain situational awareness,
analyzing and reporting on the state of U.S.
networks and systems, and fostering
interagency collaboration and coordination.
Initiative #6. Develop and
implement a government-wide cyber
counterintelligence (CI) plan. A
government-wide cyber counterintelligence
plan is necessary to coordinate activities
across all Federal Agencies to detect,
deter, and mitigate the foreign-sponsored
cyber intelligence threat to U.S. and
private sector information systems. To
accomplish these goals, the plan establishes
and expands cyber CI education and awareness
programs and workforce development to
integrate CI into all cyber operations and
analysis, increase employee awareness of the
cyber CI threat, and increase
counterintelligence collaboration across the
government. The Cyber CI Plan is aligned
with the National Counterintelligence
Strategy of the United States of America
(2007) and supports the other programmatic
elements of the CNCI.
Initiative #7. Increase the
security of our classified networks.
Classified networks house the Federal
Government’s most sensitive information and
enable crucial war-fighting, diplomatic,
counterterrorism, law enforcement,
intelligence, and homeland security
operations. Successful penetration or
disruption of these networks could cause
exceptionally grave damage to our national
security. We need to exercise due diligence
in ensuring the integrity of these networks
and the data they contain.
Initiative #8. Expand cyber
education. While billions of
dollars are being spent on new technologies
to secure the U.S. Government in cyberspace,
it is the people with the right knowledge,
skills, and abilities to implement those
technologies who will determine success.
However there are not enough cybersecurity
experts within the Federal Government or
private sector to implement the CNCI, nor is
there an adequately established Federal
cybersecurity career field. Existing
cybersecurity training and personnel
development programs, while good, are
limited in focus and lack unity of effort.
In order to effectively ensure our continued
technical advantage and future cybersecurity,
we must develop a technologically-skilled
and cyber-savvy workforce and an effective
pipeline of future employees. It will take a
national strategy, similar to the effort to
upgrade science and mathematics education in
the 1950’s, to meet this challenge.
Initiative #9. Define and develop
enduring “leap-ahead” technology,
strategies, and programs. One goal
of the CNCI is to develop technologies that
provide increases in cybersecurity by orders
of magnitude above current systems and which
can be deployed within 5 to 10 years. This
initiative seeks to develop strategies and
programs to enhance the component of the
government R&D portfolio that pursues
high-risk/high-payoff solutions to critical
cybersecurity problems. The Federal
Government has begun to outline Grand
Challenges for the research community to
help solve these difficult problems that
require ‘out of the box’ thinking. In
dealing with the private sector, the
government is identifying and communicating
common needs that should drive mutual
investment in key research areas.
Initiative #10. Define and
develop enduring deterrence strategies and
programs. Our Nation’s senior
policymakers must think through the
long-range strategic options available to
the United States in a world that depends on
assuring the use of cyberspace. To date, the
U.S. Government has been implementing
traditional approaches to the cybersecurity
problem—and these measures have not achieved
the level of security needed. This
Initiative is aimed at building an approach
to cyber defense strategy that deters
interference and attack in cyberspace by
improving warning capabilities, articulating
roles for private sector and international
partners, and developing appropriate
responses for both state and non-state
actors.
Initiative #11. Develop a
multi-pronged approach for global supply
chain risk management.
Globalization of the commercial information
and communications technology marketplace
provides increased opportunities for those
intent on harming the United States by
penetrating the supply chain to gain
unauthorized access to data, alter data, or
interrupt communications. Risks stemming
from both the domestic and globalized supply
chain must be managed in a strategic and
comprehensive way over the entire lifecycle
of products, systems and services. Managing
this risk will require a greater awareness
of the threats, vulnerabilities, and
consequences associated with acquisition
decisions; the development and employment of
tools and resources to technically and
operationally mitigate risk across the
lifecycle of products (from design through
retirement); the development of new
acquisition policies and practices that
reflect the complex global marketplace; and
partnership with industry to develop and
adopt supply chain and risk management
standards and best practices. This
initiative will enhance Federal Government
skills, policies, and processes to provide
departments and agencies with a robust
toolset to better manage and mitigate supply
chain risk at levels commensurate with the
criticality of, and risks to, their systems
and networks.
Initiative #12. Define the
Federal role for extending cybersecurity
into critical infrastructure domains.
The U.S. Government depends on a variety of
privately owned and operated critical
infrastructures to carry out the public’s
business. In turn, these critical
infrastructures rely on the efficient
operation of information systems and
networks that are vulnerable to malicious
cyber threats. This Initiative builds on the
existing and ongoing partnership between the
Federal Government and the public and
private sector owners and operators of
Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR).
The Department of Homeland Security and its
private-sector partners have developed a
plan of shared action with an aggressive
series of milestones and activities. It
includes both short-term and long-term
recommendations, specifically incorporating
and leveraging previous accomplishments and
activities that are already underway. It
addresses security and information assurance
efforts across the cyber infrastructure to
increase resiliency and operational
capabilities throughout the CIKR sectors. It
includes a focus on public-private sharing
of information regarding cyber threats and
incidents in both government and CIKR.

The plan above seems to have some
good points to it. After all, we need to be ever more vigilant
against terrorists, especially as their technology becomes better
and their weapon's stockpile becomes more tech savvy, so to speak.
You probably noticed that the plan is
like a giant pyramid in its scope and nature. It talks about the top
eschilon of computer networks and it sees that as the government and
military complex; federal government that is. Then the scope gets
wider as it goes on to include what would be state, county and
governmental structures. Then it includes the business
infrastructure as a whole and then breaks that down. When you read
other sources about this US Government brainchild you see that those
in authority are quick in an effort to dispel any thought that this
might be used against the common everyday man.
For the most part the plan seems
innocuous, but when we come to Initiative 12 we find bothersome
wording. In the very last sentence it talks about the private sector
and how they equate it with CIKR (Critical Infrastructure and Key
Resources) If you have been around the internet for any time you
have seen that even the most humble site can harbor the worse virus.
I can't count how many times I'll be doing research and I'll go to a
site only to have my virus protection pop up to tell me that it
caught some virus that the website was trying to pass along to me.
So in essence, every website on the internet is part of CIKR. The
following news surfaced last year in regard to ATT and the
government's request to test Einstein on its network:

AT&T picked for cybersecurity plan;
Chertoff weighs in

In the event you missed it, big news hit
before the start of the holiday weekend. On
Friday, the Obama administration announced
that it would tap the National Security
Agency to help screen government computer
traffic on private sector networks. AT&T,
meanwhile, would reportedly test the system.
In case you think this is deja vu all over
again (think: NSA’s admission of warrantless
wiretapping back in 2005), the Obama
administration is quick to assure privacy
advocates that government efforts would not
involve “monitoring private-sector networks
or Internet traffic.” DHS officials tell the
Washington Post that the new program will
analyze data only going to or from
government systems.
The program, known as
Einstein, is a carryover from the Bush
administration and, as the Washington Post
reports, it had been delayed for months as
the Obama administration determined what
components to keep in place. DHS first
developed Einstein back in 2003 to track web
traffic coming to and from federal
departments that participated in the
program. Going forward, a new version of the
program, Einstein 2, is meant to address a
weakness of the initial program: a failure
to produce warnings that, according to GAO,
are “consistently actionable and timely.” As
The Wall Street Journal reports, it will
take 18 months to launch Einstein 2 across
most of the government; 96 smaller agencies
will then follow.
Next up after that: Einstein 3. If you’re
wondering what this third iteration will
entail, Michael Chertoff, former homeland
security secretary offered this take to the
Washington Post: “Intrusion detection is
like a cop with a radar gun on a highway who
catches you speeding or drunk and phones
ahead to somebody at the other end …
Einstein 3 is a cop who actually arrests you
and pulls you off the road when he sees you
driving drunk.”

Granted it cannot be argued that ATT
services many of the big businesses and maybe even some of the
governmental services on the internet, but a vast majority of its
business comes from the private sector; mainly the individual
customer that receives internet service from ATT via DSL or its new
baby, the fiber optic network.
It would make sense too for the
government to keep an eye on everyone. Now, don't think that I
believe them in the right for doing so, nor do I condone such an
act, but let's face it and look at one thing. If you were a
terrorist, would you try to send secrets or your plans by way of a
large server at some multinational company located here in the
United States? We saw by the actions of the murderers that flew the
planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon that they act in a
different manner. They kept their activities at low key and took
months to formulate their plans and carry them to fruition. An
attack against the internet infrastructure would most probably come
from some guy who is a loner and operates out of his basement or
something of the like; not from a mega-server at a large company or
a government server.
The thing that
righteous Jews and Born Again Christians have to keep in mind is
that those who are labeled as terrorists are done so by the ones who
can get the news out to the public. In other words, we rightfully
call the Islamist Nazis terrorists because they instill terror into
a population that they are trying to destroy or put under
subjugation. When a terrorist blows up a bus in Jerusalem the people
in Israel call it terrorism because by the rule of decent society
what was done was an act of terror. However, across the border in
Gaza the bomber is seen as a hero; a martyr and a freedom fighter;
and that is because their religion is a religion of death, persecution
and amorality.
What we have seen in recent months is
a polar shift in the beliefs of the American people. Because we have
an insane communistic maniac as our leader all of the insane people
have come out of the woodwork. People who would have feared to pose
their crazy ideas in the past feel that they have a license to do so
in the present climate; and the other crazy people freely accept
their ideas. We live in a society where bad is called good and evil
is seen as righteousness. Like the British army band played during
the Revolutionary War, "The World Turned Upside Down," could
again strike up the band.
With this demented and wicked thought
process comes the need for them to attack and conquer the
philosophical and religious institutions that have held society
together for centuries. The inmates have taken over the asylum but
the see that there are still a few doctors roaming the grounds and
their victory cannot be complete until every vestige of sanity that
remains is eliminated. Since these inmates resist accountability with every fiber
of their being; and they hold to multicultural and multireligious
concept they will have to eliminate any religion or people that
promote accountability to law and to the Giver of The Law; who is
also the granter of grace. That is why it is imperative that Jews
and Christians wake up and smell the coffee.
Since we have wickedness in both our
government and in almost every other government on earth we can
expect a polar shift in what they perceive to be a threat to this
new demented and contorted society. It is interesting to watch these
maniacs in their embracement of Islam. Many of Jewish heritage are
involved in the press corps and they seem to be in bed with the
Islamists. People who are overtly homosexual turned out in number to
vote for Obama, whom anyone with open eyes can see to be a closet
Muslim. The Hollywood elite send money to Palestinians and support
Islam all the time. These groups of people support a lifestyle of
people, whom when they get the first chance will behead them because
they are Jews, or involved in sexual abomination or are
whoremongers. We were all born into this world and we have seen what
this world does to people that it doesn't like; yet these incredibly
stupid people support the very ones that will someday kill them; now
that is insanity. We're told several times in scripture that sin
causes people to do stupid things because it causes their judgment
to be come clouded and continued sin causes people to become blind
to the truth.
With that said, we have to accept the
fact that sometime soon the tide will totally shift and Christians
and Jews will be seen as an enemy of society. Because we believe
that we have to be answerable to Yeshua and we see things as black
and white; right and wrong; we will be seen as enemies of the state.
We'll be seen as intolerant; haters of the wonderful society that
the NWO is trying to set up. We'll be in the way, so to speak;
regarded of as a cancer on society that needs to be excised.
The very steps that are being
implemented to protect the internet from terrorism will be used
against us. Instead of the NSA email filters looking for words that
relate to Islam or any of the governmental leaders; their filters
will be used to look for names like Yeshua (Jesus), prayer, Bible
and any number of words that Christians and Jews use in their daily
faithful lives. Believe it or not, there are some of us already who
have their phones tapped. We hear the clicks and hollow tones on the
phones while we talk. We just bless the listeners and pray for them
and sometimes we ask them if they're enjoying their donuts and
coffee (snicker).
Yes, we had all better wake up
because the very government that protected our rights to worship and
pray will be the same one that will haul us away in the middle of the night
because they overheard us on the phone, or read our e-mails or had
one of our neighbors rat us out. Some of you might think that I'm
being a bit conspiratorial or maybe even some of you think that I am
paranoid; but give yourselves a few years; you'll see things through
the same eyes; but will you be ready??

Things have been moving along well
where ministry is concerned. If some of you don't know it; my wife
and I, along with Jim Wilhelmsen and a host of others have a second
job, where we minister to people who have been victims of alien
abduction and/or the paranormal. We've had a lot of success in leading

and leading them into Yahweh's reality. Jim has become so busy that

Remnant Call:
Remnant Call has been a real kick in
the pants lately. We have a nice core group of people who enjoy
being together two nights a week and we're molding into a tight knit
family. Monday nights are free talk nights where we can just
fellowship and get to know one another. Thursday nights are teaching
nights where Jim Wilhelmsen has been bringing many insightful topics
with the aid of videos that he has gotten quite skilled at making. I
will start teaching again sometime in March, but I can't make videos
so the talk will be a lecture format, all audio. But, you can look
at my face if you have a video cam (snicker). If you want to know more

ABOUT THE BOOK
Things are getting
very exciting where the book is concerned. In February the editor
sent his recommendations to me for fixing some of the punctuation
and adding or removing some things. I had to read through the book
yet again to see all that he was recommending. I promptly returned
the book to him whereupon it was sent to a proof reader for further
work.
The proof reader sent
the book to me in PDF format and it was great to see that my rough
draft was now turning into a book that had a professional air to it.
There was a bit of a error where the copyright was concerned but
after asking the editor to change it back to my name all was finally
fixed. So, I sent it back to the publisher and told them that as far
as I was concerned, the book was ready to go to the printer, which
is where it is now.
Originally the release
date was going to be April 01, 2010 but it appears that it will be
released at the beginning of May of this year. Realizing that the
imminent release was near I decided to put up a website about the
book which tells about the authors and a little about the book. Also
on that page are some links to book sellers like Amazon, Barnes and
Noble, Christian Book and Books-A-Million, all whom are selling the
book.
I talked to Jim
Wilhelmsen about a week prior to writing this Journal and he
reminded me of a dream that Yahweh gave to me which is published on
our website. In that dream I was with other Christian UFO
Researchers and we were all at the top of a building that was built
like the letter "T." The other people were out on the edge of one of
the branches of the "T" and I felt that it wasn't safe to be out
that far. I've never been one for heights, but in the dream I felt
that there was more of a danger than just the height. At the
elevator we were greeted by the FBI who was there to arrest us for
some reason. We went down some floors in the elevator and when we
exited it appeared that we were in some sort of medical building and
I went to use the bathroom. I watched at they kept walking and my
guard waited for me out side the restroom. When I came out everyone was gone; even
the FBI agent who had been my escort.
To understand the
dream one has to understand that there are some in the Christian UFO
Research realm that are performers and entertainers. They are
involved in the field to receive the notoriety that comes with
speaking at conferences or writing books. Sadly, others are into
this work to make money and to use as an income. There is very little
humbleness in these people and as long as they see their name on
DVD's, on book covers and on the list of speakers they feel that
they have their reward and they are satisfied. I don't really feel that way. I've always
resisted being in the spotlight. As far as I'm concerned, I am
working for Yeshua and I want Him to have all of the glory. I'm just
not interested in the "receiving accolades" sort of stuff.
But as we talked on
the phone that one day, Jim reminded me of the dream and he told me
that he felt that this year was going to be my time to shine.
However, he reminded me of the dream and said that when the lure of
fame comes to me that I should remember that dream and remember the
danger that comes with notoriety. I think that his words to me were
that I shouldn't hang with the others and that was the gist of what
Yahweh was telling me in the dream. I totally agree with Jim and I
pray that if some sort of fame should come to me that I'll just
remain the humble servant of Yeshua and give all the credit to Him.
Frankly, I don't want any reward here on earth and I'd rather wait
till the time that Yahweh rewards me with the eternal treasures that
he will hand out to His Righteous Ones. I never want to succumb to
the words, "Dave's Book," or "Dave's ministry," or "what Dave is
doing." Dave is a scumbag saved by grace and I want the master to
get the glory, not the student.

BEING MELTED DOWN AND REFINED
I learned a long time
ago that when you pray for something you better be prepared to get
it because
you will get it in one way or another. It is sort of funny, looking
back at my life and the lives of others that I know and seeing how
Yahweh has worked in us. I don't know about you, but for the longest
time, when I would pray for something I would have a mental picture
of how I thought it should pan out. For instance, for quite a few
years I prayed for a spouse. During that time I would occasionally
run into a woman or two whom I thought was the answer to those
prayers. Those times of dating would always turn out disastrous
because it was my way of testing the water to see if Yahweh was
answering my prayer. In essence, I was sitting at a dating slot
machine and pulling the handle and getting disappointed when the
machine stopped at three lemons.
As I've gotten older
I've learned that Yahweh's ways are not our ways and although He
does answer prayer, it is according to His will, not ours. There are
those who say that Yahweh gives us the desires of our hearts; but
they stop there without realizing that only Yahweh knows which one
of those desires are good for us and which ones will cause us harm.
The day that I first met Lourdes I was finished dating. I was
prepared to be single the rest of my life. I'd dated one loser too
many and I was tired of the games. I felt led to try one more
Christian dating service however; just for one month and if nothing
paned out then I was done. Being Jewish I picked a cheaper service
(go figure huh?) and threw caution to the wind. The very first day I
was there I met Lourdes and through a few months of Yahweh giving me
dreams and visions that told me that she was the one that He had for
me, I finally had my prayers answered. Oh, and Lourdes' testimony in
this regard was very similar.
Sometimes we have to
wait for a long time to have our prayers answered, but those are
always the best answers. Back in the summer of 1980 I had been saved
for just one year. I was a fanatic for Yeshua and I wanted everyone
to be saved; especially my family. My cousin Larry came to
California that summer to visit and I was very happy because Larry
was more like a brother than a cousin. We grew up together and were
best friends. One day during his visit I told Larry about Yeshua and
Larry sternly told me, "there is no way in hell that I will every
become one of those Jesus Freaks." I was hurt of course because of
his rejection of Yeshua, but I resolved to pray for Larry.
For the next twenty
five years Larry went through a literal hell. He was immersed in the
drug culture and was strung out and/or down and out for most of that
time. Once, during the middle of that time I heard from my mom who
saw Larry sitting on a stoop and he was crying. This broke my heart
and I wanted to help, but I knew that Larry's time hadn't yet come.
In 1999 my dad passed
away from the complications of a surgery that he had. He had always
said that he wanted to return to New Jersey one more time to fish in
his favorite lake, but he died before he could fulfill that desire.
As a tribute to my dad I returned his ashes to that lake so that he
could be there until the resurrection. This was a good time in that
I was able to stay with Larry and his girlfriend Marcia. Marcia was
a wonderful gal; a backslidden Christian who was in the process of
returning back to Yeshua. She'd been raped a couple years prior by
two men who gave her AIDS. Larry loved her and cared for her. Marcia
told me that she had been witnessing to Larry but it was tough for
her because Larry was still messed up. He was off the drugs, but
over a decade of drug abuse gave him a very hard heart.
Although Larry had a
hard heart he had matured in character; he had finally grown up.
Over the period of the next two or three years we would talk on the
phone, but Marcia would answer the phone first to give me a progress
report on Larry. One day Marcia told me that Larry was praying with
her. He had realized that there was a God and he wanted to know
more, and he wanted to improve his condition. About twenty five
years after Larry swore to me that he would never come to Yeshua, he
finally did. Marcia told me one day that Larry accepted Yeshua and I
broke down and cried with her on the phone. He had to reach rock
bottom first, and just like Nebuchadnezzar had to eat grass in the
field, Larry had to be humbled to the point where his face was in
the dirt, so to speak.
The saved Larry was a
joy and every time we would talk on the phone he would ask questions
about faith, and Yeshua and everything else that anyone could
possibly ask. In January of 2006 Yeshua brought Marcia home and
about a year later Larry went home to be with Yeshua too. The years
of drug abuse had taken their toll and his body was such a mess. But
Yeshua had mercy on Larry and now Larry and Marcia are in Glory,
enjoying their new bodies and enjoying their Yahweh.
Sometimes Yahweh uses
bad situations to refine us. The saying goes that iron sharpens iron
and hard times make us strong in our faith. I find myself going
though just such a situation. My workplace is the closest that I
have ever come to a den of iniquity. There are some good people
there, but there are some incredibly wicked people there too; and
the wicked seem to be the ones that prosper. With the exception of
one manager that we had for a short while, every other one has been
a narcissist and two of them have been haters of Jewish people. The
place has been a spiritual war zone and every day is like the first
week of Normandy all over again. Frankly, I've never found myself in
such circumstances. I've been literally made practice target by the
managers and by others who don't like Jews, or Christians or people
who work hard to prosper.
The difficult thing
about all of this is that Yahweh has told me that He has me there,
not so much to witness (which does happen from time to time), but so
that I can become hardened for battle. His words were, "I have you
here so that you can become battle hardened. The days are coming
when the whole world; your friends and neighbors and everyone that
you meet will be like these people at work. You have to be strong
for the days that are coming." It has been difficult for me because
there are times when I want to rage against my adversaries, but
Yahweh always checks me and tells me not to live eye for eye, but to
love those who deserve my wrath. He has assured me that just as He
used nations to teach Israel he is using these people at work. But
He has also told me that once He is done using them to make me
battle hardened, he will judge them for the angst that they are
putting me through.
Frankly, if I were to
list here some of the stupid little things that people at work have
done to make my life hell you would think that I was making these
things up, or you would just refuse to think that people could be so
evil; but they are. And if you knew that I have had so much
ammunition to use against these people and Yahweh has told me that I
cannot seek my own justice, you would be amazed. But, like Yahweh
told me, "just like my people were delivered from Pharaoh at the Red
Sea, so will you be delivered from your adversaries," I just have to
sit and wait till I have learned what He wants to teach me, and then
I can watch as my enemies are consumed. Yahweh has even showed me
what will befall two of my worse enemies; and that has caused me to
have a compassion for them. It is a terrible thing to fall into the
hands of the Living God.
So, I said all of that
to say this. I know that some of you who are reading this have been
having a hard time; maybe at work or in some other arena. Pray for
Yahweh to tell you what is going on. He is faithful and He will
answer you. Most likely it is in preparation of the days to come.
Someday, when we are going through serious trials we will look back
on our present situations, and the present abusers of our souls, and
we will thank Yahweh that he prepared us in better times for the
really bad times. So keep in prayer constantly, and let others know
what you are going through so that they can pray for you. But also
be aware that everything that happens in our lives happens for a
purpose. There are no accidents and there are no coincidences. And
know, that everything that the devil brings to you to bring harm,
Yahweh will turn around to bring glory to Him. Scripture says that
we're all a work in progress, and that we will be in progress until
He brings us home, or when He returns. Scripture also says that when
trials come that can appear to overcome us, He will provide a way of
escape. So, let's let Yahweh be God, and let's just worship and
trust Him. Let Him iron everything out because when you think of it,
when we even pretend to have things under control, we make a
horrible mess. Cast your burdens on him and take up Yeshua's yoke.
His yoke is easy and his burden is light. Remember always, It isn't
your way, it's Yahweh!
