It has been close to two years since the last entry to this radio program news post.
Toward the middle of last year Jim again joined the program as did a new person Erik Smith. Erik is quite versed in the research that we do and he has some wonderful insights into current events as well as strong knowledge about the subjects of Nephilim and other pre and post flood history
During the last posting I had mentioned that I had been diagnosed with colon cancer. I have been 1 year and 7 months cancer free since the surgery, praise YHVH’s Holy Name!!
Program days and timing have changed. We have not used BlogTalk Radio for a long time because it is too expensive and the quality is sub-par. We were using Mixlr and it worked good for a while, however it started to do strange things with recordings thus it became useless. So we have been on a strictly archive basis. We record the shows usually on Thursdays and I try to have them in the archive by that same evening, however I work the next day and sometimes the upload of the final file is as late as Monday.
The Last week in January we will be recording the program on Monday nights and I should be able to publish it that same night as I am off the next day. Jim and Erik are fine with this and we hope that you, our listening audience are too.
We’d like you to know that while Erik is a young buck, Jim and I are starting to get up there in years so there might be times when the program will miss one of us or the other. We are confident that Erik is able to man the ship if we both happen to be down for a week or so.
Finally, you might have noticed that we no longer have information leading to GWOW Radio. I was notified by the Carl, the person that funded GWOW Radio that because of financial problems there was a strong possibility that he would have to take down the site or at the very least he would not have the time to administer the site anymore. We wish Carl and Randall the very best and we will be in constant prayer that things will turn around for them to be able to once again bring back GWOW Radio to its full potential.

Many things have happened since the last posting. Kristin did come on as a co-host and she has been wonderful. She has brought much insight to the show and continues to be a wonderful blessing.
Because we have relocated to rural Oregon we do not have the bandwidth that we had when we were located in Eugene. We have DSL presently and it fails more often than it works correctly. We have had to cancel some shows due to technical difficulties. There is a possibility that another internet provider will soon have set up a tower that will allow us to use wireless internet which will much more reliable than Centurylink DSL has been. Since we have had such difficulty, we have switched to doing the show when we feel that the DSL connection will be most reliable, which means that the show is live on different days usually between 1 PM and 3 PM Pacific. Again, this is not always the rule, especially in the winter when the wind, rain, and ice cause line problems or when some redneck mows down a telephone pole. Interestingly, this has increased many folds since Oregon made smoking Marijuana legal.
We bought a Dropbox account which allows us to post Opposing The Matrix archived shows. Every show that we have done, since our start in 2010 is archived there. I apologize for the quality of the earlier shows. I do not have the time to clean up the noise and such like I do on the newer archives.
Finally, there may be interruptions in our show schedule for the next month or two. I have been diagnosed with colon cancer which seems to be operable and the prognosis is good. I will need time to recover however so there may be a period of a month when we will not broadcast any shows. Thanks for understanding.

There have been a couple of important changes to which we need to keep you informed of. In the past entry, I mentioned that there was a possibility that a friend and sister in Yeshua would be joining the show as a co-host. That has happened! Our new co-host, Kristin Peterson will be co-hosting on a regular basis starting the middle of December. Kristin is very informed when it comes to a variety of subjects and she’s a fantastic researcher. She will be a valuable asset to our show and a blessing to boot. Kristin’s work schedule will dictate that some maybe one time a month she will not be available for broadcasting.
In addition to the prior news, we have decided to move our broadcast to a Tuesday night format. I hope that my work schedule will continue to afford us to use this night from now on and for the foreseeable future it will. So please catch us on Tuesday nights at the same time as usual.

We’ve had some changes lately. As I mentioned earlier we are blessed to be in league with GWOW Radio. Randal is a wonderful friend and a true brother in every sense of the word. Recently Randal received the okay to be included on IHeart Radio, meaning that our shows go out via Satellite Radio now. In addition, Opposing the Matrix is now live on Mixlr Radio every Saturday night. Our shows are then archived on GWOW and IHeart Radio. I keep thinking back to that schmendrick that said we were being closed down because maybe we weren’t in Yahweh’s will. Well, as far as I can tell, he’s still wrong.
We’ve had a few challenges lately. In the past, most of us had time to schedule shows and to study for them. Granted, sometimes we winged it. However Randal and his wife Bahms have gone full time in their business and so have I, being promoted to a Program Manager at work. That means that I spend many hours at work. Friday’s are basically days to take naps and wind down. For this reason I often schedule shows on Friday nights or Saturday mornings. I know that it’s short notice for you the audience, but it is for me too.
Third and most important for this entry is the news that Jim Wilhelmsen has decided to go his own way and will no longer be part of hosting the radio show. I realize that many of you listen in because Jim is on the show and I hope that you would remain regular listeners. Jim and I have NO animosity toward each other. We have decided that Yahweh is moving us into same areas of ministry that are a little diverse and that these things require more attention than Jim’s full-time connection to the radio show can afford. I hope and pray the best for him. He’s an awesome minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a terrific researcher and my prayer is that he continues to excel in both areas.
Finally, I have thought for a long time that Opposing The Matrix needs a woman’s touch and a woman’s way of looking at things. My wife and I have a very good friend and sister who is interested in coming on the air to share her research and her heart with everyone. Hopefully, soon she will be my co-host on Opposing The Matrix.

We started on GWOW Radio last week. Right away we were under attack by the enemy. Halfway through the show, I lost internet connectivity and my appearance in the show. So I went to call in and tell them I had electronic problems and discovered that my landline was dead too. So, I decided to call in using my cell phone, but there was no signal. The next day I found out that someone or something had gotten into one of the fiber-optic centers and destroyed some of the lines. I honestly wondered if martial law had started and they cut the communications. I guess that’s still in the future. Anyway, it’s great to be on the air again. We look forward to a long future of radio time. Thanks to our listeners for always being faithful, and also being patient when technical glitches occur.

Hello, Everyone. Here is a short blurb about things that are changing with our show.
As you know, we were hosted by BlogTalk Radio. BlogTalk charged $400.00 a year to use their server and use some of their services. With finances the way that they are, both Jim and I determined that we would not be able to afford the exorbitant cost that BlogTalk charges for their services.
We appealed to listeners for help. Yahweh gave us two listeners who offered to pay outright for the BlogTalk charges. We’re thankful for such wonderful offers. Another way that Yahweh gave us was to set up our own server at my home. I have all of the equipment to do that, however, at this time, I do not have the know-how to do this. And finally, another brother approached us about hosting our shows on his server. We have decided to take the last offer mentioned here. We’re thankful to Randall, the person who graciously offered us the free offer.
We don’t expect this transition to take long, perhaps one to two weeks. I am sure that after the 15th of April, BlogTalk will reduce us down to their minimum service and I’m hoping that they’ll continue to archive our past shows. In the event that they do not, I have downloaded all of the shows which we will archive somewhere. If we need to do this, I will let you know where the shows are archived, and where to go to get the new archives as they become available after the live shows from the new server are available.
We want to thank you for your patience as we get everything up and running. You’re a wonderful audience and we appreciate you so very much!
Greetings to our “Opposing The Matrix” faithful listeners.
This is David, co-host of the show. Over the past few years, we’ve gone through a few changes in broadcast times and co-hosts of the show. Last year Jim came back to the show after he fulfilled a vow that he made to the Lord, which kept him away for a while. I’m very happy that he’s back.
Back in September of 2013, I enrolled in college to get a nursing degree. It is an accelerated course which means that they cram two years of schooling into a year. At the time I enrolled they told us that we basically had to “not have an outside life” because we would be very busy with school, homework and clinical rotations. They were absolutely right about this. For that reason, I took a leave of absence from the show but came back after realizing that I could actually work it into my schedule. At the beginning of October of 2014, I graduated from Nursing School and now have time to do the show without hindrance. The Great Delusion is only growing larger with more and more people falling into its deception. There is no time to waste and I cannot justify not being on the air with Jim to discuss the problems at hand and of course, the solution.
Late in 2014, I added another show titled “Bai-Ya-Mim,” (In Those Days) that goes into Messianic and Hebrew Roots discussions. I hope to be part of bridging the divide of misunderstanding that has developed into a chasm between those seeking their Hebrew Roots and those who don’t feel a need to do such things and see it as “being under the Law.”
I want to thank you, faithful listeners, who have waited patiently for me to get my schedule in order and finish my schooling. It was letters from many of you who missed the show that caused me to look long and hard at how I could fit the two hours into my schedule. I looked at the stats the other day and noticed that up to this date, there has been a total of over hundreds of thousands of listen’s to our broadcasts. That blesses me so much, to see such numbers. It gets even better because, with that high number, I have gotten NO negative feedback from anyone. Jim and I are dedicated to bringing you the best that we can in the days to come and with Yahweh’s help we will educate the masses about the Great Delusion and it’s many aspects. Thanks again for being faithful listeners. Yahweh has used you to bless us so much.
David – Host of Opposing The Matrix
