WE BELIEVE . . .

 

We affirm that the Bible, composed of both the Old Covenant (Tanakh) and the New Covenant (Brit Hadasha) is the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We affirm that God is “Echad”, as declared in the Shema (Deut. 6:4), “a united one” or a “compound unity” eternally existent in three Persons as expressed in Isaiah 48:16-17.

We affirm the Deity of Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus, the Messiah), that He is the “Seed of the Woman” promised by God in Genesis 3:15 and that His virgin birth was to be a sign to Israel of His Messiahship as stated in Isaiah 7:14. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

We affirm, as stated in 1 John 4:2-3, that Yeshua Ha Mashiach came in the flesh. Realizing that all men are born in the flesh, but that Yeshua is YHVH, Emmanuel (God with Us), YHVH came from Heaven and is All God and All Man.

We affirm Messiah’s life, His miracles yesterday and today, His vicarious and sacrificial death as our atonement, His bodily resurrection, His appearance thereafter in Jerusalem, His ascension, His personal future establishment of His kingdom on earth.

We affirm that unlike common heretical tradition, we believe that there were portions of Torah that were nailed to the Tree with Yeshua, not the entire Torah. We believe that the Laws pertaining to Sacrifice and the Levitical priesthood were fulfilled in Yeshua but that Torah (Instruction) still pertains to the believer in Yeshua, both Jew and Greek. That Torah exists to show mankind what sinfulness is and that it causes men to reach out to Yeshua for Salvation through YHVH’s Grace obtained through the shed blood of The Lamb, Yeshua Ha Mashiach. We believe the teaching of Yeshua: “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:17

We affirm that the Feasts of YHVH and the Sabbath (Shabbat) are to be celebrated in perpetuity. We believe that the Shabbat starts at sundown on Friday and ends at Sundown on Saturday. We celebrate the feasts, first as a celebration of Yeshua’s First Incarnation and those feasts yet unfulfilled prophetically are to be celebrated in the Blessed Hope of His Return. We believe that YHVH’s dietary laws are to be kept, not only for health and sanitary reasons, but also out of obedience to YHVH. We also want it to be known that YHVH has grace in these matters and that HE only talks to men’s hearts and that every person comes to the realization of the processes of the items in this paragraph in YHVH’s timing and YHVH’s timing alone. If YHVH shows grace toward His People we expect His People to show grace toward their brethren.

We look forward to the Blessed Hope of the Rapture of the Church at Christ’s Coming, most probably midway through the last 7 years of the human dominion of Earth. We do acknowledge that only Aveinu knows the Day and Hour of Yeshua’s return to Earth to set up His Kingdom. We do not believe that the timing of the Rapture should be a subject of debate, bickering and sore contention amongst YHVH’s People and we will not tolerate any talk that brings about derision or division.

We affirm that the only means of being cleansed from sin is by grace, through faith in the shed sacrificial blood of Yeshua Ha Mashiach and that regeneration by the Spirit of God is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (Leviticus 17:11, Ephesians 2:8)

We affirm the present ministry of the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh) by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a godly life. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

We believe in the resurrection of both saved and lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to eternal separation from God, the latter being consigned to the state of everlasting punishment. (Daniel 12:2, Matthew 25:46)

We affirm that the New Covenant body of the Lord is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have accepted Yeshua Ha Mashiach as the Promised Redeemer, worshipping together in the House of God. (I Corinthians 12:13, Hebrews 10:25, Ephesians 2:12-14)

We believe in and are obedient in the partaking of the communal elements of the matzah (unleavened bread) and the wine, as instituted by Yeshua Ha Mashiach at His last Passover Seder, that the elements are symbolic of the Lord’s death and His resurrection. (I Corinthians 11:23-24)

We believe in water immersion of believers (Mikvah aka baptism), at the age of accountability as commanded by the scriptures, as an outward sign of an inward salvation relationship, symbolizing the death of the old man and the resurrection unto newness of life. (Matthew 3:16, 28:18-20)

And finally, we affirm that no man, angel or spirit has cornered the market on understanding scripture. That those that are humble and contrite search YHVH’s Word for answers to life’s questions, asking Yeshua for help in understanding His Word and for divine interpretation of scripture through His Ruach, and that YHVH uses Scripture to verify Scripture. We also affirm that we are answerable to other brethren in regard to scripture interpretation, and that questions and rebukes are always conducted in a humble and contrite manner and in the Matthew 18 process as given to us by Yeshua our Authority in All Things.
